The Challenge
Rashid and Latifa Schools Establishment (RLSE) is on an inspiring mission to redefine education in the UAE. Following the merger of two distinguished institutions—Rashid School for Boys and Latifa School for Girls—RLSE has successfully united these schools into one strong, forward-thinking institution, now known as Rashid and Latifa School (RLS). This exciting transformation brought with it a critical challenge: the organisation’s HR processes were outdated, inefficient, and heavily reliant on manual systems, which could no longer support their growing needs and ambitions.
“Implementing a robust HR system was essential to support our strategic goals,” said Meloney Hyatt, Head of People and Culture. As the education sector evolved rapidly, RLSE faced mounting pressure to integrate academic and operational functions while managing high recruitment volumes, varying annual leave accruals, and complex HR workflows. The existing manual processes were no longer sustainable and posed a significant barrier to achieving their vision for growth and efficiency.
The Solution
Meloney Hyatt was introduced to Yomly through a recommendation from a former colleague, who believed it would be the perfect fit for RLSE’s needs. The standout feature that caught their attention was Yomly’s ability to read digital documents and automatically input data. “We were particularly impressed with how Yomly automated payroll and digitised employee records,” Meloney shared. This level of automation promised to streamline HR operations and eliminate many of the manual tasks that were hindering efficiency.
The implementation was smooth and efficient, thanks to the combined efforts of Yomly’s Customer Success Managers and Professional Services, who played a key role in driving the project forward.“The implementation team was exceptional,” said Meloney. “They guided us every step of the way to ensure a seamless transition.” With training sessions for both academic and operations teams, adoption was swift. Key features like automated leave management integrated with payroll delivered immediate benefits. “If leave isn’t entered correctly, it’s flagged as unauthorised, keeping everyone accountable,” Meloney explained. By automating HR workflows, RLSE streamlined payroll processing, improved leave tracking, and enhanced performance management, resulting in measurable efficiency gains and more data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
“Implementing Yomly has been a turning point for our HR operations. From automating payroll and leave tracking to digitising employee records, the system has eliminated manual processes, saved us countless hours, and improved accuracy. It’s been essential in supporting our growth and driving greater operational efficiency.”
