Cognita’s schools were managing payroll through separate processes, with significant reliance on spreadsheets, manual calculations and email approvals.
As the regional network grew, this fragmented approach increased administration, created the potential for errors and made it difficult to maintain standardised payroll controls across schools.
Limited employee self-service also generated high volumes of queries about payslips, salary certificates and personal information.
