2025 Wrap-Up
2025 was a remarkable year filled with energy, ambition, and growth. Our CPTO led with clear intention: hire exceptional tech talent without compromise. That mission took us far, not only did we welcome new team members based in the UAE, but we also expanded our global footprint with talent joining us from Germany, Russia, Romania, and beyond. Even more exciting was experienced talent from Talabat, Careem, Meta, and Bolt choosing Yomly as their employer of choice.
Our recruitment strategy wasn’t just thoughtful, it was strategic and relentless. “Fastidious” doesn’t begin to capture the boldness of our hiring efforts. Interview after interview, our hiring managers met a wide spectrum of talent, but we weren’t hiring just anyone. We were searching for the Yomly best: engineers who lead with ownership, navigate ambiguity with grit, and possess a pragmatic mindset. We wanted people who don’t just write code, they think through problems, advocate for clear solutions, and continuously evolve to drive measurable impact.
Last year, this approach resulted in 19 new hires – a diverse, passionate cohort positioned to shape our next chapter.
Looking Ahead in 2026: Train & Retain
With Yomly’s growing team now in place, 2026 brings a shift in focus: nurturing and empowering the talent we’ve worked so hard to attract, and strengthening those who have always been with us. This year, our mission is not just to build teams, it’s to:
- Invest deeply in growth through mentoring, coaching, and learning pathways.
- Create a culture of belonging where feedback is welcomed and every voice matters.
- Champion career mobility, giving every Yomly team member the tools and space to define and pursue their own development arc.
Here’s the framework that will shape our blog and our culture conversations:
- Authenticity Over Perfection: We succeed when we share honestly, even the messy parts.
- People First: Metrics matter, but humans matter more. Culture isn’t built on policies; it’s built on experience.
- Continuous Learning: We celebrate curiosity, embrace constructive challenges, and grow together.
- Shared Ownership: This blog reflects Yomly as a whole. You’ll hear from leadership and our teams, united by a collective commitment to how we work
We’ve always believed that a great product is a reflection of the people who build it. With our team now more experienced and aligned than ever, 2026 marks a turning point in our maturity. We are focusing inward on our people so that we can deliver outward for our client, building a product that is as thoughtful, resilient, and forward-thinking as the team behind it. We’re excited to grow with momentum and, most importantly, with purpose.
